With its distinctive rugged, yet urban design, the Jeep Renegade hybrid has made itself a key player in the compact SUV marketplace. This smaller SUV is a hybrid, placing an emphasis on low energy consumption while still being aesthetically pleasing with its powerful features, spacious interior, and a near-hybrid thermal-electric synergy. Even though driving the Renegade comes with some downsides, the experience still sharp, especially when the convenience features of modern ADAS systems are taken advantage of. Driving ergonomics aside, the interior does need a bit of modernizing to fit the sleek exterior.

Modern and Strong Features
Jeep combines its trademark square, muscular design influenced by off-roaders and modern touches in the new Jeep Renegade. It is 424 cm long, 181 cm wide, and 167 cm tall, making it easy to use in the city, while it is also spacious enough for longer treks. The iconic seven-slot grille is refreshingly understated.
New active bumpers add an aggressive look, while sharp LED headlights enhance aerodynamics. New designs and finishes on the alloy wheels with the trapezoidal wheel arches and plastic protections add to its off-road capabilities. X-shaped LED lights, along with an updated bumper, add an edgy feel to the rear, while e-Hybrid badges complete the new modern rugged feel.

Styled Interiors Offer Old-School Charm, But Accommodates New Technology
Similar to the Jeep Renegade’s exterior, its interior is practical in design because it uses basic raw materials and spacious layouts with simple designs which makes it beautiful for as long as it stays uncluttered on the lower infotainment section filled with buttons.
The Jeep does, however, make strides with a new 10.1-inch infotainment unit and 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Unlike its predecessors, the central display monitor is fast and responsive with embedded smartphone-like haptic feedback for easer interactivity. The device provides 4G WiFi, enables over the air updates, and allows use of wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Voice commands can assist with navigation, parking, and even searching for nearby charging stations, although they do tend to be more unreliable than simply sifting through the menu options.
Moreover, as a unique feature, the angle of the tilt of the car can be shown on the central screen for off-road lovers. Although the nature of the interior design can be regarded as somewhat retro, the tech improvements certainly cause a paradigm shift in this area.
